About Bill

My family has made our home on Pond End Road since 2002, and I grew up in Ward 2 on Weir Road. I attended Plympton (K-3), MacArthur (4-5), Kennedy (6-7), graduated Waltham High in 1992, and Purdue University in 1996. My wife, Kristie teaches at Whittemore Elementary School and we are the proud parents of Billy (WHS sophomore Class of ’22) and Mikey (Kennedy 8th grader). Throughout my childhood, my parents and grandparents owned and operated small businesses in Waltham. Both of my parents were raised in Ward 2 (Amherst Ave and Weir Rd) and my family taught me that public service and volunteering are how you improve a community. I have a record of service that has prepared me to serve on the City Council.

Professionally, I’ve made my career managing teams and projects developing information technology at Partners Healthcare. My work focuses on serving the needs and improving clinical outcomes for our most vulnerable patient populations. I don’t do any business with or within Waltham, and have no connection to any political group or agenda. My only agenda is good government for Waltham

I am currently in my fifth year as President of Waltham Youth Baseball, at Lazazzero Park on Lake Street. I’ve served on our City’s Board of Health since 2006, recently volunteered on two WHS principal selection committees, and serve as a trustee on the Waltham Gridiron Foundation. Waltham winters are spent coaching Waltham Youth Travel Basketball, and I am currently the coach of the Kennedy Middle School baseball team. I am deeply involved and invested in Waltham's future, and want to continue to serve the residents of Ward 2 and improve OUR neighborhoods.
